TSW AZ Ford Raptor Gen 2/3 & 2015+ Replacement LCA Pockets

Our TSW High-Clearance LCA Pocket Reinforcement was designed from the ground up to fix the factory weak point while gaining clearance, strength, and longevity where it matters most.

Unlike thin, open designs, ours is:

• Fully boxed
• Boxed on top
• High-clearance shaped
• TIG welded from 1/4″ plate steel

This creates a rigid, tied-in structure that spreads load into the frame instead of concentrating stress — especially critical for high-travel suspension, aggressive off-road use, and hard landings.

Installation Notes

 Installation Overview

1. Remove factory lower control arm pocket

Cut off the OEM mount and fully remove it from the frame.

2. Prep the frame

Clean, grind, and prep all mating surfaces for welding.

3. Mock up the new pocket

Install the TSW LCA Pocket and loosely install the factory lower control arm to ensure proper alignment.

4. Tack in place

With the control arm installed, tack the pocket to lock in position.

5. Final weld

Remove the control arm and fully weld the pocket on both sides.

6. Finish & protect

Paint or coat the area as desired.

7. Reinstall & send it

Reinstall the control arm, torque to spec, and get back to using the truck the way it was meant to be used.
